    Indeed it does, as does your blog name Hot Bacteria :-)

    As for your post, what is life, I respond thus:

    How about the observation that juxtacrine signaling can be as important to the way a cell makes potential decisions about life and death as endocrine and paracrine signals? Transpose that to the human level and it shows how much we and our society can learn from cellular behavior.
